Help! I need a Printer!

Whether you are a seasoned pro or a first timer, building a good relationship with your printer is essential. We see print as a collaborative process between client, creative and printer. For us, print is never just about churning out a product, it’s about the journey towards this point and the listening and understanding that goes into securing the right print product for the right person.

Here’s our step by step guide to the way we work:

 

Step one: let’s talk

So, you think you might need our services? Drop us an email or call us up and let’s start talking. We’ll listen very closely so that we can tailor the right solution and fully understand what you want to achieve.  

For us, the talking stage is crucial. Whether you want help to plan a complex and demanding print job, or you simply want advice on paper – we believe that sitting down and talking it through is the best way to get results that please everyone. Our friendly team of estimators will ensure you receive the best advice possible for your needs.

 

Step two: let’s think

We offer different print solutions. For short runs, quick turnaround and very competitive price we have a digital printer, cut out to make light work of the smaller jobs and for the bigger jobs with exacting quality required, we run our two litho presses over two shifts daily – meaning there’s always a suitable and timely solution to your needs and with our in-house design team at your service, we’ve got it covered!

 

Step three: costing it up

Once we know exactly what you’re after, we’ll get you a quote for the work, agree deadlines and delivery and if you’re happy, off we go...!

 

Step four:Let's print!

Supplying your artwork. You can send us your artwork (i.e. what you require to be printed)

We accept artwork via the ‘account’ tool on this site, by email, or if you’d prefer you can deliver by hand.  If possible we prefer artwork to be supplied as high res pdf, but you can also supply as Indesign or Quark files. If you are not familiar with these formats, we will always be happy to talk you through this step.

We’ll keep you informed of wherever we are in the print process, right up until your 1st proof is ready for you and if you want to visit us at any point in the process from checking proofs on site to watching the print come off the press – you are more than welcome to come in. We keep an open house approach to our print works and for many customers; it’s an integral part of the process and experience and one that we are very happy to accommodate.

Proofs are available as hard copy or as pdf – we’re happy to work the way that suits you best.

 

Step five: finishing touches

So, your print is ready!  Wherever you need it to go, we’ll get it there, but that’s not where it ends. We want to know how the process was for you. With every delivery, we’ll leave you a feedback sheet and SAE and will follow up with a call just to check that everything is as you would expect from us. We value our customer feedback so much and if an issue arises, we will make sure it’s tackled there and then.
